Centennial Arena
Originally built in 1967, Winkler’s Centennial Arena has recently been redeveloped. It is home to the Winkler Flyers Junior A Hockey Club, the Winkler Royals, and various minor sport programs. The arena is directly linked to the Meridian Exhibition Centre as well as the Ed Belfour Performance Centre.

City of Winkler is not liable for accident/injury. Participate at your own risk.

Elevator is reserved for accessible access to the second floor. Unnecessary use of the elevator will not be permitted.

The User shall adhere to the following:
Respect for Others: All visitors are expected to treat other guests, user groups and staff with respect and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
Facility Usage: Please use the facilities and equipment responsibly. Any damage caused by misuse may result in penalties or repair costs. Be respectful of events and facility use in progress. Do not trespass in authorized personnel spaces (I.e. Staff room, Custodial Closet, etc.).
Cleanliness: Help us maintain a clean environment by disposing of trash & recycle items in designated bins and keeping the facilities tidy.
Sunflower Seeds: Sunflower seeds are prohibited within indoor facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Safety Regulations: Follow all posted safety instructions and guidelines. In case of an emergency, please call 911. Please note any foul play to staff. Security cameras are monitored throughout the facility & recreation grounds.
Supervision of Children: Children under the age of 12 must be always supervised by an adult.
Prohibited Items: The following items are not allowed within the premises: weapons, illegal substances, and any items that could pose a safety risk.
Smoking, Vaping, Chewing Tobacco, Marijuana, Alcohol: Smoking, vaping, chewing tobacco and marijuana are prohibited inside the facility. Please utilize designated smoking areas outside and adhere to all relevant regulations under the Liquor, Gaming, & Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.
Alcohol: Alcohol is prohibited at the Centennial Arena. Exceptions apply to approved Events, under the facility licence & private permit.
Scooters, Skateboards, and Bikes: Scooters, skateboards, and bikes (electronic or manual) are not permitted in the facility. Please use designated areas outside for these activities.
Service Animals: Only service animals are permitted within the facility. Please ensure they are always properly identified and under control.
Event Conduct: During events, please follow the specific guidelines provided by event organizers. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event.
Loitering: Loitering in facility vestibules, restrooms, dressing rooms, and common spaces is not permitted. Overnight occupancy is prohibited.
Solicitation: Solicitation of any kind is prohibited in the Centennial Arena.
Parking Regulations: Please Park in designated areas only. Unauthorized vehicles parked in restricted areas may be towed at the owner’s expense. Ensure that you follow all posted parking signs and regulations.
Photography and Social Media Usage: Photography is allowed in most areas of the facility, but please be respectful of others’ privacy. Do not take photos or videos in restrooms, dressing rooms, or other private areas. When sharing on social media, please tag our official accounts and use appropriate hashtags. Ensure that your posts reflect the positive and respectful atmosphere of our facility.

Centennial Arena
The newly redeveloped arena features an NHL-sized ice surface and room for more than 1400 spectators, with accessible ramps, an elevator, and seating.
